Mosaic art

In term Two 3R have been studying bridges in science.
Bridges are a popular theme in art. Utagawa Hiroshige was a Japanese artist
who was famous for his prints. We have used watercolors in our paintings
inspired by one of hismost famour works,
“Man on Horseback Crossing a Bridge.”

3D line perspective pictures

Inspired by Guiseppe Archimboldo, an Italian artist who printed for
royalty. He created face, painting flowers, vegetabvles, leaves and fruit.

Working with crayons in the aboriginal style of Elaine Rusell.

Bones give us our shape

Exposition on Packaging by Nellie
There is no doubt that clever packaging sells products. “Nesquick” by Nestle uses a number of smart techniques to sell this food.
Firstly colour is used to sell the product. Yellow and pink are bright, happy colours.
Secondly shapes are used to sell the product. Some of the shapes are raindrops and flowers.
Finally, language persuades people to buy this product. The words “Delicious” and “Fun” makes it sound exciting to drink.

There is no doubt that clever packaging sells products. “Milkyway” by Mars Snackfood Australia uses a number of ingenious techniques to sell this junk food.
Firstly colour is used to sell the product. The dark blue background with the light blue stars is colours people assume are in space. The dark chocolate brown and the bright red star attract people’s attention.
Secondly shapes are used to sell the products. The stars means the food is first class.
Finally, language persuades people to buy this junk food. The words “Not too big, not too small” make it seem like you can have a treat without being unhealthy.
For all these reasons I firmly believe that wise packaging sells items.

Secondly shapes like stars make it look like you are a winner if you buy this product.
Finally language persuades people to buy products. The word “delight” makes you think that having this food product will make you happy.
For these reasons I believe clever packaging sells this food product.
Exposition on Packaging by Michael
There is no doubt that clever packaging sells products.
“Tim Tam” by Arnott’s uses a number of smart techniques to sell these biscuits.
Firstly colour is used to sell the product. The background colour is chocolate brown Chocolate brown makes the customer think the product is delicious and soothing. The gold colour sells the product because gold is a precious and valuable metal and everyone wants to be rich.
Secondly shapes are also used to sell a product. The street sign shape encourages the customer to buy the product because it contains information that they will win one out of two awesome prizes.
Finally language persuades people to buy this product. The motto "The most irresistible chocolate biscuit” makes it seem super appetizingly delicious. The words “Win me” persuades the customer to think they might win a holiday or a years worth of “Tim Tams”. They might not have any prize at all!
Therefore I firmly believe that intelligently coloured, shaped and worded packaging sells probably disgusting and unattractive stuff that you don’t need for a very high price. So for all these reasons I firmly believe that packaging is very important for selling products.
One cold and starry night there were four people in a land.
It was a family with no mother so there was only a father and three children. Those four people did not have a house to live in so they ate witchetty grubs to live.
In the starry night sky, there was a picture made out of stars. It was a picture with four women sitting around a camp site.
Then after they had a big adventure they went to bed.
